Add Annotated to Chrome.

Install Annotated from this download. It takes about a minute, in Chrome on a computer: a phone can’t run Chrome extensions.

1. Unzip it.

   On a Mac, double-click the file; on Windows, right-click it and choose Extract All. You get a folder called annotated-extension. Keep it somewhere you won’t tidy away: Chrome runs the extension from that folder.

2. Open chrome://extensions

   Type or paste it into Chrome’s address bar. Chrome won’t open it from a link.

3. Turn on Developer mode.

   It’s the switch at the top right of that page. Leave it on while you use Annotated.

4. Click Load unpacked.

   Choose the annotated-extension folder, the one with manifest.json directly inside it. Annotated appears in the list.

5. Pin it, and open it.

   Click the puzzle piece in Chrome’s toolbar, pin Annotated, then click its icon. The side panel opens beside the page you’re on. Sign in with Google or X to publish. If annotatedbounty.dev was already open in a tab, reload it.
